Objective
We were assigned to design a flight information display system for mobile viewing that communicates flight details, focusing on hierarchy and clarity. The objective is to apply typographic skills to create a functional system that organizes data.
Research
First research was done to study how existing airport apps present flight information and how they could be improved. By analyzing layout, hierarchy, and design choices, I was able to then begin creating a system that is both functional and visually clear.
Process Work
I then began to explore different directions, test ideas, and refine how the flight information can be organized and displayed. It helped to make sure the final system is clear, functional, and has intentional design decisions.
First Digital Iterations
I then began refining the iterations and defining typographic details such as color, font, and composition. This step allows me to improve the readability and hierarchy so that it is easily understandable and effective for the audience.
