Objective
The goal was to design a consistent and professional email signature for all Pontchartrain Conservancy staff. The signature needed to align with the organization’s branding while remaining clearand easy to implement across different email platforms.
Pontchartrain Conservancy
Pontchartrain Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that works to protect and restore the Pontchartrain Basin in Louisiana. They focus on the environment, water quality, wetlands, wildlife, and education. I worked here over the summer as an Administrative and Graphic Design Intern.
Visual Guidlines
Process Work
I researched best practices for email signatures and reviewed the Conservancy’s brand guidelines. I began with quick sketches to explore layout ideas, focusing on where to place the logo, staff details, and contact information in a clean, balanced way.
Icons
To improve readability and visual hierarchy, I designed small icons for the email signature. These icons help organize the information, making it easier to scan while adding a modern, polished look.
Digital Iterations
Using brand colors and typefaces, I built digital drafts and tested variations in font size, spacing, and logo placement. These iterations, while they look similar, finding the correct positioning and hierarchy help distinguish the design.
Final Iteration
The final email signature features a simple, polished design: the Conservancy’s logo paired with staff name, title, and contact details in a clearformat. It strengthens the organization’s digital identity by giving a unified and professional look.
